OSDEdit 1.6 - Channel Editor For Platinum,Lite, and Xtreme

Many channel lists exist . The most popular are lyngsat.com and satcodx.com.

Lyngsat is a Swedish website that is very comprehensive but relies on casual viewers and hobbyists to send them information.

SatcoDX is a German company that publishes Tele Satellite magazine -- the largest satellite
publication in the world. Tele-Sat is not widely distributed here in Canada. Copies can be obtained in Winnipeg at Dominion News on Portage Ave in downtown. A subscription to Tele-Sat can be obtained for $55 US per year. Satco DX uses their field reporters to provide data to them thus the data is more accurate and up-to-date.

The great thing is that you can download the OSD Edit 1.6 Channel editor from the Viewsat website. Then go to SatcoDX and download (or use a special CD sent with the magazine) the SatcoDX tables to OSD Edit 1.6. Use OSD Edit 1.6 to further refine your info. Then load to your Platinum or Xtreme.

If you are a comprehensive C-bander this list is the one for you. SatcoDX updates info almost daily and you can do updates by going to their website.

For any satellite here in Winnipeg big or small dish Lyngsat or SatcoDX will provide adequate info.
In some cases the lists are helpful in defining your own interests so you can construct lists of channels you enjoy
