LNBF & Brackets

Satellite signals are very weak. That's why we need a parabolic antenna to focus them and a low noise block, also known as LNB or sometimes LNBF, universal LNB or feedhorn mounted in its focal point to collect them.

Two types of polarization exist. Linear and Circular .Most projects require Circular polarization however 97,105,and 121 projects require linear. Here is a recent technical discussion that was published in the 11-06 issue of Tele-Sat Magazine. This article details polarization theory.
